Week 20 (25 September 2023 - 29 September 2023)

Monday, 25th September 2023

    It's my last Monday here! In terms of 2 Fikrah, I had just finished my last observation with my mentor, Teacher Wim. So I planned an adverbs lesson that included the broken telephone game but in the adverbs version. Throughout the lesson, my students were very cooperative and energetic. I am quite appreciative of their efforts. Then, for 1 Bestari, I just finished a guided essay, specifically an informal letter. Throughout the lesson, students were quite cooperative. As soon as I ended the class, my students surprised me with a small celebration that I wasn't expecting. I am extremely grateful to have such wonderful students😭.

     Regarding my relief class, I have one simultaneous class relief at Dewan Eusoff Teh, which are 1 Efisien/ 1 Cemerlang/ 1 Dinamik/ 2 Dinamik from 1.45 p.m. to 2.20 p.m.

Tuesday, 26th September 2023

    It's Tuesday! Today, I'm simply finishing up the lesson plans and keeping up with the journal. I had a wonderful time today.

    Regarding my relief classes, I have three: 2 Jaya from 1.10 p.m. to 1.45 p.m., 1 Efisien/ 1 Fikrah from 1.45 p.m. to 2.20 p.m. and 1 Harmoni from 5.35 p.m. to 6.45 p.m.


Wednesday, 27th September2023

    Wednesday is a co-curricular day! As for today's co-curricular activity, it was an introduction to the dodgeball sport. As a result, I did not have a meeting with members of the skipping sport.

    In terms of my teaching class, I conducted a guide essay activity focusing on article writing for 2 Fikrah. The students were excellent and gave it their all. However, I did prepare a small celebration at the end of the class as it was my last class with 2 Fikrah.

     Regarding my relief classes, I have two: 2 Harmoni from 1.10 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. and 1 Cemerlang from 2.20 p.m. to 2.55 p.m.

   It's Thursday! Today was public holiday for 'Maulidur Rasul' 👐


Friday, 29th September 2023

    It's finally my last day of practicum! Thankfully, the other teachers had prepared a potluck for me and the other three practicum teachers. I felt extremely heartened and grateful to have this working atmosphere.

    In my teaching class, I did a reading task with 1 Bestari. The students were great and gave their best. However, because it was my last session with 1 Bestari, I had a small celebration at the end of the class. I was extremely touched when I received so many gifts and compliments from the students.

    Regarding my relief classes, I have two: 2 Cemerlang/ 2 Dinamik from 3.30 p.m. to 4.05 p.m. and Peralihan Arif/ Peralihan Bestari from 5.00 p.m. to 5.35 p.m.

Monday, 14th August 2023      It's Monday! Today, I merely resumed my roleplay with 1 Bestari. It was because some of the kids were still not finished. I will award the duo that presented with proper intonation and gesture. They were overjoyed to learn that they may win rewards. Regarding 2 Fikrah, I finally finished up the lesson from last week's postponed session—a short answer exercise. I assisted them in answering questions correctly and finding the answer from the given text.   Monday, 21st August 2023      It's Monday! But today was a holiday for Sports Day event 🏫 Tuesday, 22nd August 2023      It's Tuesday! As usual, I didn't have much to do today and was simply trying to finish my current task.      Regarding my relief classes, I have two: 2 Dinamik from 2.55 p.m. to 4.05 p.m. and 2 Bestari from 5.35 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. Wednesday, 23rd August 2023      It's Wednesday! I needed to attend an 'Upskilling Performance Module Keramat 2023' meeting with the English panel at Bilik Bahasa as soon as I arrived today. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the newest module developed by certain Keramat area teachers.      In class, I gave the students a reading comprehension task that focused on matching-gapped text. Week 11 (24 July 2023 - 28 July 2023)

  Monday, 24th July 2023      It's Monday! So, I received information that the fellow practicum teachers were involved in KPM's "Penarafan Tandas bertaraf 5 Bintang." We had been assigned to assist the other teachers in rating the condition of the school's restroom. I was assigned to update the school maps, which included the names of all the restrooms. It was an amazing opportunity and a brand new lesson for me.      So, for 1 Bestari today, I focused on reading and writing skills, and I provided homework for students to rearrange sentences to form a short paragraph.
